Magnus Group is proud and excited to be shortlisted in two prestigious Suffolk Business Awards categories.
The company has made the Growth Business of the Year category finals, while CEO Olly Magnus is shortlisted as Director of the Year.
News of the finalists was announced this morning in the East Anglian Daily Times. The paper organises the awards alongside headline sponsors Sizewell C and the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce.
Olly Magnus said: “I’m blown away at making both finals. The Growth Business category is down to the incredible team we have built at Magnus Group. Everyone from top to bottom has tackled challenges head-on and made the business a success, helping it turn a corner from a difficult position to one of sustained profit.
“On a personal level, I am humbled to make the final of the Director of the Year. I gambled everything I had to buy into Magnus Group and bring the business back under family control. Anyone who knows me understands how invested I am financially and personally.
“It’s pleasing that the judges have recognised my decisions and how the business is now following a clear growth strategy.
“I wish all the other finalists the very best of luck.”
The Suffolk Business Awards winners will be announced at a glittering black-tie ceremony at Kesgrave Hall on Thursday, September 29.
The Paul Magnus Golf Day, originally also planned for Hintlesham Golf Club on the same day, has now been put back a day to Friday the 30th so that the two events do not clash.
